Thunder

Report

After last night’s thrilling finish in Invicta, Thunder – who were missing a large portion of the squad due to MK Storm having a U19 game – picked up where they left off and put Lee Valley to the sword from the off in a dominating performance. Thunder were also delighted to hand a first senior game to 16 Year old netminder Danny Kolisek, who after joining the club on a development 2-way with Solihull Jr Barons, replaced Aaron Burton with 10 minutes to go.

It’s all to play for as we approach the business end of the NIHL 2 South season. After 6 points this weekend, Thunder climb to 6th, in touching distance of Invicta, Haringey and Cardiff above with games in hand. With remaining fixtures against Solent, Bristol, Chelmsford, Peterborough and Cardiff, Thunder’s eyes are sharply set on hunting down the top 4 heading into the post season where the top 8 in the standings will move on to the play-off quarter finals.
