Thunder looked like the win in Peterborough had taken a lot out of them, but overcame the Pitbulls challenges early on to lead 2-0 after the first period.

The second was a scrappy and tight affair before Bristol got themselves back into the game in the third to make it 2-1. Thunder however showed they had the quality needed to take the three points when Oxley scored on the power play before Marks Kanins slapshot crossed the goal line with 0.1 seconds left on the clock to make the final score 4-1.

Thunder’s winning streak is now extended to 7, ahead of Peterborough making the trip to MK next Sunday in what promises to be a fascinating affair!
