Returning to Thunder for a fourth season #31 Craig Bradfield will be looking to lock down the starting netminder position come September. Initially signing for Thunder in the 21/22 season, Craig has provided steady and reliable goaltending when called upon across the past three seasons. A fan favourite, Craig has previously iced for Sutton Sting and Coventry NIHL Blaze before an break from the sport led him to Milton Keynes in 2021.

Craig is looking forward to another season protecting Thunder’s net:

I’m really pleased to be back with Thunder for another year. Lauren and Will have worked tirelessly over the summer, and they’ve put together a fantastic group. I’m excited to get back out there!

Thunder Head Coach Will Fry is pleased to have ‘Bradders’ back, and expects him to command the starting netminder position:

Bradders has a wealth of experience. I’m pleased that we’ve been able to put an offer together to keep him around the club for another year – I fully expect him to take ownership of the position, which he will need to with competition from Kieran pushing them both to maintain high performance levels. We will be looking to him to provide us with a solid foundation that we can build forwards from and cause other teams some problems.

Not only is he great to have on the ice, he’ll provide good leadership and input with the young netminders we are bringing in to work with Ross [Assistant Coach Netminding] looking forward to the future.

As the full fixtures are released on Friday, it’s not long now until we know when we can see Craig in action for Thunder in Milton Keynes once again.
