Thunder are also delighted to announce the signing of netminder #38 Kieran Hickman for the upcoming season, as he switches his wheels for blades to join his brother Josh on our roster.

Kieran has represented GB Inline previously and impressed between the pipes at our trials in April. He is looking forward to playing alongside his brother and developing his Ice Hockey resume with Thunder. Kieran commented:

“I’m excited to be back on the ice with a great group of players, playing for a great team. I’m looking forward to a warm welcome in Milton Keynes and can’t wait to get going!”

Head Coach Will Fry liked what he saw at trials, and jumped at the chance to get both brothers signed for next season:

“Kieran showed that he is a talented netminder, and we will be looking to transfer that skillset to the Ice for next season. He provides us a dependable option in goal and has demonstrated already that he has a great attitude and willingness to bring everything he has for next season. I’m looking forward to welcoming him to our group and look forward to seeing what he has to offer when the league season starts!”
