Sheahan Secures Third Netminder Role
Young netminder Kaleb Sheahan remains with Thunder to continue promising development.
Talented young shot stopper Kaleb Sheahan will take the third netminder position this season, providing crucial backup for our senior tandem and continuing his development with the club.
Kaleb made his debut for Thunder last season, featuring in 3 games at NIHL 1 level where he demonstrated significant potential.
Kaleb has come through the Milton Keynes Storm junior system, and is excited to remain in MK to pursue the early stages of his senior career;
I’m really pleased that I’ve been selected to be part of the thunder squad for this season, I’m hoping to make a good impression. I’m very confident we can achieve a lot this season with the team we’ve put together.
Head Coach Will Fry on Kaleb’s return to the Thunder roster;
Kaleb had a positive year with the club last season, and clearly there is potential there for him to develop into a top level netminder. For us it will be about supporting his growth and technical skillset to provide a platform for him to move onto bigger and better things. He’s a great individual, full of character, confident and level headed. He will provide us with crucial backup throughout the season and hopefully we will be able to offer him opportunities to increase his experience and ice time which will benefit him in the long run.
You can see Kaleb and the rest of our new Thunder roster in action THIS SUNDAY as we open our NIHL 1 South season at home to Oxford City Stars at 7:30pm.
Kaleb’s jerseys are available now to Own and Loan for £95 each.
