Thunder are delighted to welcome GB U16 Sean Reynolds to Milton Keynes, as part of a 2-way agreement with Guildford that will gain the young forward exposure to a higher level when availability allows.

Sean has come through the system in Guildford, and last season captained the U16 team, whilst also representing the U18 team also. Over the course of the year Sean registered 30 points across both age groups, as well as earning call ups to represent Team Longstaff in the EIH showcase, as well as Great Britain U16, scoring 3 points across 8 games for the national side.

Sean is excited at the chance to move up a level:

I can’t wait to start the season with MK Thunder and I’m grateful for the opportunity to play with them. I’m looking forward to the coming season and hope we can do well

Thunder Head Coach Will Fry had the following to say regarding Sean’s arrival:

It’s great that as a club we are in the position where we can attract these talented young players who are looking to continue their careers and push themselves to reach the highest level possible. Sean and his family are very level headed and we’re looking forward to welcoming them all to Milton Keynes as we look to provide Sean the opportunity to take the next steps in his development.

I am sure that Sean will feature for us throughout the year, but this is about helping a promising player to maximise their potential and any benefit we as a team get is secondary to his own personal growth and aspirations.
