SPONSORSHIP
our 2025/26 sponsorship document contains all our current partnership options.
Milton Keynes Thunder currently participate in the NIHL 2 South Division.
The club’s excellent facility access and robust team of volunteers provide a solid foundation for a project which aims to maximise player development and create an environment for athletes to continue playing the sport they love at senior level with minimal cost. The club was founded in 2001 and in 2023 was awarded charitable status – adding to the team’s sense of community and accomplishment.
We are more than just a hockey team. The club is a family that supports each other both on and off the ice. Our strong values of hard work, dedication and community inspire players to be the best version of themselves and strive for greatness.
In working with us directly, you will have the chance to build valuable relationships with an organisation who’s values align with your own. As a charity, we’re driven to always do the right thing, a partnership with us can boost your company’s reputation and demonstrate your commitment to social responsbility. Plus as a sponsor you’ll enjoy free tickets to our home games and events to share with your staff or clients. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a positive impact and reap the rewards of a mutually beneficial partnership.
INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS

Thunder have a wide and engaged digital community, with plans already in place to improve our digital and social media offering ahead of next season, with new content streams, more player/team activation and improved user experience making it easier for fans to find and interact with us – including our new website which you are on right now!
The club has a vast reach across all forms of social media. Engaging with our fanbase is central to our community values, and our platforms return a strong ratio of followers:interactions when compared to other industries.
As a headline, we currently have over 10,000 followers across all platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, Linkedin & Youtube), with over 250,000 impressions across last season. Our Facebook account averages 1,500 interactions a month via 3,500 followers.
With regards to live audience. Our home games have a strong core fanbase, which has grown since the introduction of our schools initiative. Our live stream service was also purchased by over 380 households across last season – with our Youtube account achieving nearly 50,000 views across all videos.
Please note: as Thunder are a recognised charity, sponsorship payments differ from donations as your company gets something related to the business in return. You are therefore able to deduct sponsorship payments from your business profits before you pay tax – treating them as business expenses.
Payments qualify as a business expense if the charity:
- Publicly supports your products or services
- Allows you to use their logo in your own printed materials
- Allow you to sell your goods or services at their event or premises
- Links from their website to yours
