MK Thunder

A New Era Begins…

Thunder are proud to reveal a modern and vibrant new identity - launching a new era as the club prepares to build for the future.

Milton Keynes Thunder is proud to reveal a bold new identity, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the club’s journey. The rebrand, which features a modernised logo and updated visual identity continues to be inspired by The God of Thunder, whilst reflecting the club’s commitment to growth, performance, and community.

As the Thunder prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 season in NIHL 2 South, the rebrand is more than just a visual update. It represents a forward-thinking move that celebrates the club’s heritage while aligning with its vision to build strong player development pathways through its connections with the Milton Keynes Storm Junior Club.

“This rebrand is a huge step forward for the club,” said Lauren Cox, General Manager. “We’re proud to honour our heritage and roots in while presenting a clean, professional look that represents where we’re heading. It’s a powerful statement of who we are — a club with strong foundations, passionate people, and an exciting future.”

The updated logo retains elements of the previous identity, with a refreshed colour palette and a new wordmark — “Thunder” — sitting beneath the bold silhouette of the Norse warrior, evoking the mythological power of Thor. The full rollout includes redesigned home and away jerseys, enhanced digital platforms, and a brand-new line of official merchandise, with the new Jerseys to be unveiled at the club’s annual Awards Night in July.

The rebrand embodies three core values:

  • Boldness: A fearless look fitting for the battles ahead

  • Modernity: A design system fit for today’s digital-first audience

  • Professionalism: A unified visual identity to represent the club’s evolving ambitions

Milton Keynes Thunder continues to build momentum with a renewed focus on youth development, community engagement, and high-performance standards. The refreshed branding is the next logical step in that evolution — a look to the future with deep respect for the past.

The new identity is now live across the club’s website and social media platforms, with more reveals and features to follow in the lead-up to the new season.
