Kanins’ Record Season
With 3 goals, and 7 points total last night in Gosport, #97 Marks Kanins is now officially the holder of two Thunder records.
With 41 goals in 21 games, Marks has broken Ross Bowers’ record season of 37 goals for Thunder which has stood since the 2010-11 season.
In addition, the Latvian forward now has 66 points to his name, which surpasses the previous record of 64 held by Jamie Line from the 2015-16 campaign.
Marks has averaged 3.14 points per game this season, his first in Thunder colours. However, alongside his scoring touch he has also provided huge contributions in the growth and development of those around him, particularly our prospect players. He has quickly grown into a fan favourite in Milton Keynes and there is still time to add to his tally in tonight’s game against Cardiff Canucks.
