Sam joined Thunder midway through the 2024/25 season. Previously Sam played juniors in Bracknell, with appearances for Bracknell Wasps in NIHL 2, before moving on to represent Nottingham Mavericks in the BUIHA. A fast and dynamic winger, Sam isn’t afraid of the physical side of the game and has proven since signing his capability at senior level.
