Xander has joined Thunder as part of a 2 way agreement with Basingstoke Buffalo (NIHL2S) to continue his development and offer playing opportunities against a higher level opposition when available.

He started his junior career in Milton Keynes before moving to join the youth systems in Bracknell and Basingstoke, making his senior debut with Buffalo in the 21/22 season. He has iced in 2 games for the Basingstoke Bison in the NIHL national league, and last season recorded 16 points in 22 regular season games, and 4 in 4 during the playoffs for Buffalo.
